Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 1.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metso Oyj (HE:METSO), which rose 1.00% or 0.26 points to trade at 26.15 at the close. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 0.81% or 0.20 points to end at 24.95 and YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) was up 0.56% or 0.04 points to 7.13 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V), which lost 5.79% or 1.76 points to trade at 28.66 in late trade. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 2.67% or 0.210 points to end at 7.644 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) shed 2.50% or 0.375 points to 14.625.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 88 to 52 and 19 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for May delivery was down 0.69% or 0.45 to $64.50 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 1.37% or 0.84 to hit $60.52 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 6.70 to trade at $1327.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.49% to 1.2400, while EUR/GBP fell 0.07% to 0.8870.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 89.63.
