Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.85%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metso Oyj (HE:METSO), which rose 4.25% or 1.26 points to trade at 30.92 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 1.25% or 0.0640 points to end at 5.1860 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was up 0.83% or 0.23 points to 27.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which lost 5.30% or 1.75 points to trade at 31.28 in late trade. DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) declined 2.70% or 0.5200 points to end at 18.7500 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) shed 1.81% or 0.81 points to 44.05.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 101 to 46 and 15 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.05% or 0.04 to $85.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $75.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.48% or 17.60 to trade at $1209.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.16% to 1.1559, while EUR/GBP rose 0.26% to 0.8901.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 95.03.
