Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.47% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 0.79% or 0.38 points to trade at 48.40 at the close. Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) added 0.53% or 0.18 points to end at 34.22 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was up 0.43% or 0.11 points to 25.65 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 2.78% or 0.190 points to trade at 6.640 in late trade. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) declined 2.54% or 0.53 points to end at 20.34 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) shed 2.35% or 0.90 points to 37.43.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 99 to 50 and 9 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was down 0.43% or 0.27 to $63.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.21% or 0.12 to hit $56.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 5.07 to trade at $1279.27 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.05% to 1.1661, while EUR/GBP rose 0.63% to 0.8898.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 94.44.
