Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which rose 1.46% or 0.30 points to trade at 20.86 at the close. Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 0.35% or 0.26 points to end at 75.14 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) was up 0.05% or 0.02 points to 42.91 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which lost 2.60% or 0.84 points to trade at 31.51 in late trade. YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) declined 2.35% or 0.14 points to end at 5.61 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) shed 2.32% or 0.98 points to 41.26.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 104 to 47 and 13 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was down 2.20% or 1.60 to $71.21 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 2.62% or 1.77 to hit $65.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.32% or 16.10 to trade at $1202.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.14% to 1.1395, while EUR/GBP fell 0.03% to 0.8934.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 96.25.
