Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities, Telecoms and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 3.49% or 1.01 points to trade at 29.99 at the close. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) added 2.82% or 0.81 points to end at 29.58 and YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) was up 2.72% or 0.12 points to 4.68 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO), which lost 6.89% or 1.2700 points to trade at 17.1500 in late trade. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 3.50% or 1.28 points to end at 35.28 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) shed 2.82% or 0.68 points to 23.45.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 87 to 53 and 20 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was down 0.31% or 0.24 to $77.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.71% or 0.48 to hit $67.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1231.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.17% to 1.1383, while EUR/GBP rose 0.04% to 0.8892.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 96.40.
