Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which rose 1.40% or 0.27 points to trade at 19.21 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 1.32% or 0.100 points to end at 7.700 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was up 0.43% or 0.11 points to 25.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 4.54% or 0.178 points to trade at 3.741 in late trade. Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) declined 2.11% or 0.80 points to end at 37.08 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) shed 1.86% or 0.52 points to 27.37.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 81 to 70 and 12 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was down 2.31% or 1.69 to $71.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 2.50% or 1.58 to hit $61.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1228.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.09% to 1.1418, while EUR/GBP fell 0.24% to 0.8726.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 96.11.
