Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.58% or 0.1400 points to trade at 9.0050 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) added 1.07% or 0.36 points to end at 33.95 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 0.95% or 0.55 points to 58.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which lost 3.37% or 0.174 points to trade at 4.996 in late trade. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 1.70% or 0.110 points to end at 6.365 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) shed 0.86% or 0.14 points to 16.15.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 72 to 65 and 15 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.68% or 0.37 to $54.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.98% or 0.97 to hit $48.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.53 to trade at $1351.83 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.14% to 1.2039, while EUR/GBP fell 0.64% to 0.9118.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 91.27.
