Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.86%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metso Oyj (HE:METSO), which rose 3.50% or 0.97 points to trade at 28.70 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 3.42% or 0.1760 points to end at 5.3280 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was up 2.76% or 0.95 points to 35.34 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which lost 1.78% or 0.49 points to trade at 27.02 in late trade. Tieto Oyj (HE:TIETO) declined 0.86% or 0.24 points to end at 27.76 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) shed 0.10% or 0.02 points to 20.44.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 107 to 39 and 18 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for September delivery was up 1.93% or 1.50 to $79.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.94% or 0.69 to hit $74.14 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.60 to trade at $1254.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.94% to 1.1677, while EUR/GBP rose 0.02% to 0.8848.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.76% at 94.28.
