Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Utilities, Telecoms and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which rose 3.57% or 0.76 points to trade at 22.06 at the close. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 3.35% or 0.93 points to end at 28.70 and DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) was up 2.02% or 0.3600 points to 18.1500 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 4.75% or 0.272 points to trade at 5.460 in late trade. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 2.27% or 0.1060 points to end at 4.5550 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) shed 1.05% or 0.30 points to 28.17.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 92 to 57 and 12 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.41% or 0.31 to $76.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.72% or 0.49 to hit $67.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.50 to trade at $1200.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.54% to 1.1559, while EUR/GBP fell 0.51% to 0.8943.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 95.35.
