Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 5.26% or 1.45 points to trade at 29.04 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 5.11% or 0.2780 points to end at 5.7200 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 2.95% or 2.02 points to 70.52 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB), which lost 2.82% or 1.39 points to trade at 47.84 in late trade. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) declined 2.57% or 0.124 points to end at 4.700 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) shed 1.81% or 0.61 points to 33.10.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 89 to 49 and 21 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for September delivery was up 0.07% or 0.05 to $74.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.59% or 0.41 to hit $69.20 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1225.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.07% to 1.1651, while EUR/GBP rose 0.07% to 0.8889.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 94.49.
