Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Utilities and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB), which rose 1.63% or 0.78 points to trade at 48.77 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 1.21% or 0.56 points to end at 47.02 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was up 0.98% or 0.28 points to 28.74 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 1.46% or 0.88 points to trade at 59.52 in late trade. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 1.22% or 0.0800 points to end at 6.4920 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) shed 0.69% or 0.13 points to 19.16.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 77 to 64 and 20 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for May delivery was up 2.53% or 1.61 to $65.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 2.84% or 1.71 to hit $61.83 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 3.10 to trade at $1324.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.10% to 1.2323, while EUR/GBP fell 0.26% to 0.8893.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 90.02.
