Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 1.19% or 0.34 points to trade at 29.00 at the close. Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 1.14% or 0.21 points to end at 18.68 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was up 0.96% or 0.30 points to 31.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which lost 1.73% or 0.37 points to trade at 20.99 in late trade. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 1.23% or 0.0720 points to end at 5.7680 and YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) shed 0.77% or 0.04 points to 5.79.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 76 to 66 and 21 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was down 0.07% or 0.05 to $72.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $66.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1221.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.38% to 1.1566, while EUR/GBP fell 0.19% to 0.8995.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 95.22.
