Faraday Future (NASDAQ:FFIE) announced Wednesday that the company's luxury electric vehicle model, the FF 91, is in the final stages of development. The American EV start-up announced that the mass production phase of the FF 91 is set to kick off in China later this month, after around 9 years of delay.
Notably, Faraday Future Motors will also be officially unveiling its first-ever mass-produced EV model in California later this week. The company even offered a countdown, which reveals an announcement date that is 3 days away. The brand will be hosting the launch event at 9 am Beijing time on April 15, which can also be watched via the FF app.
Furthermore, in their latest promotional teaser, Faraday Future announced that they are working on creating an advanced manufacturing plant that will incorporate a leading cutting-edge automated production process.
Shares of FFIE are down 6.47% in mid-day trading on Wednesday.
