Evion Group NL (ASX:EVG, OTC:EVIGF) has appointed experienced company director Heather Zampatti to the role of chairperson, effective today.
Zampatti will step up to the role from her current position as an independent non-executive director of the company.
She will be filling the shoes of founding director and company chairman George Bauk as he leaves to focus on other business interests.
Will add “significant” value
Evion managing director Tom Revy said:” We’re delighted that Heather has accepted our invitation to step up to the role of chairperson at Evion at an exciting time in the company’s development and growth.

Notable experience
Zampatti is a highly experienced company director, is a member of the Australian Government Remuneration Committee and acts as a director of the Edith Cowan University’s Resources Committee and Theatre 180.
She was previously a member of the Takeovers Panel and the Financial Sector Advisory Council.
Until recently, Zampatti was head of Wealth Management at Bell Potter in Perth.
