Dynamic Metals Ltd (ASX:DYM) has unearthed elevated readings of lithium and other pathfinder elements in auger sampling at the Pioneer Dome West target, part of the larger Widgiemooltha Project in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.
Assay results from the follow-up auger program at the PDWS01 target returned 182 parts per million (ppm) lithium, 328 ppm rubidium and 70 ppm caesium.
The ASX-lister defined a 2.8-kilometre lithium anomaly during first-pass soil sampling in July at Pioneer Dome West, a tenement that sits on the E15/1721 licence covering 20 kilometres of highly prospective lithium-caesium-tantalum pegmatites.
The wider Widgiemooltha area has emerged as a significant lithium belt hosting numerous spodumene deposits, with the Mt Marion, Bald Hill and Buldania projects all within 25 kilometres of Dynamic’s tenure.
Maiden lithium sampling program
The auger sampling was completed in the centre of the elevated lithium trend and in several other locations with highly anomalous rubidium and caesium results.
A total of 580 auger samples were taken on lines at 40-metre spacings.
Dynamic’s soil sampling is the first systematic lithium exploration sampling program along this prospective area known historically for gold and nickel exploration.

Auger drilling next year
Plans for infill auger drilling to refine lithium drill targets for 2024 are advancing.
Additionally, the company is conducting a project-wide review of the effectiveness of soil sampling programs in this area.
In the meantime, the exploration team has mobilised to the Lake Percy Project, also in the Goldfields Region, to complete follow-up reverse circulation drilling at the LP1 and LP2 nickel targets.
