Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS) and cable company Charter Communications (NASDAQ:CHTR) reached a deal for distribution of Disney’s content on Charter’s Spectrum service, according to a report from CNBC’s David Faber on Monday.

A separate report from The Wall Street Journal confirmed an agreement was reached to end the dispute that impacted millions in New York, Los Angeles, and other parts of the country.

EPSN, ABC, FX and other Disney channels were removed from Charter’s Spectrum at the end of August because of the dispute, and the agreement will restore the channels to 15 million households.

The exact parameters of the deal were not provided. Charter pays Disney more than $2.2 billion annually for the rights.

Disney shares climbed by over 2% following the reports.
