Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.84%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding (COP:WDH), which rose 0.66% or 3.5 points to trade at 536.5 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (COP:DSV) fell 0.16% or 0.4 points to end at 252.5 and Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) was down 0.41% or 2.5 points to 602.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which fell 5.28% or 2.69 points to trade at 48.21 at the close. Genmab (COP:GEN) declined 3.69% or 24.0 points to end at 626.0 and Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb) was down 2.31% or 11.3 points to 478.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 102 to 47 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.94% or 0.42 to $44.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.02% or 0.51 to hit $49.02 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.34% or 3.70 to trade at $1093.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.43% to 6.8014, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4622.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.25% at 97.63.
