Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.88%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 0.86% or 0.60 points to trade at 70.55 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 0.47% or 1.2 points to end at 257.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.08% or 0.20 points to 246.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 3.52% or 320 points to trade at 8780 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 3.37% or 300 points to end at 8610 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) shed 2.38% or 3.2 points to 131.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 81 to 52 and 27 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.49% or 0.57 to $37.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.53% or 1.04 to hit $40.03 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 1.05% or 13.20 to trade at $1270.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.73% to 6.6657, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4604.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.16% at 96.06.
