Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which rose 1.29% or 3.40 points to trade at 266.00 at the close. Nets A/S (CO:NETS) added 0.97% or 1.20 points to end at 124.30 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 0.67% or 80 points to 11940 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 1.72% or 7.0 points to trade at 400.0 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 1.15% or 2.80 points to end at 241.70 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 1.13% or 5.4 points to 472.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 81 to 42 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.71% or 0.37 to $52.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $55.90 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.37% or 16.35 to trade at $1212.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.96% to 6.9463, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4366.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.11% at 100.40.
