Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 3.48% or 8.7 points to trade at 259.0 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 2.49% or 7.9 points to end at 325.0 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 1.80% or 3.5 points to 197.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which lost 2.87% or 14.6 points to trade at 493.9 in late trade. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 1.55% or 6.2 points to end at 394.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 1.51% or 4.2 points to 273.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 74 to 61 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.94% or 0.47 to $50.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.12% or 0.58 to hit $52.44 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.01% or 12.85 to trade at $1255.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.38% to 6.6664, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.45% at 96.56.
