Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 1.07% or 0.60 points to trade at 56.90 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 0.87% or 2.3 points to end at 265.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.86% or 1.5 points to 176.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 1.39% or 3.7 points to trade at 262.1 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.10% or 13.0 points to end at 1170.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 0.54% or 2.0 points to 370.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 74 to 66 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.72% or 0.77 to $45.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.88% or 0.87 to hit $47.13 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.01% or 13.60 to trade at $1330.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.29% to 6.6884, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4376.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 96.07.
