Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.53% or 21.5 points to trade at 870.0 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.73% or 150 points to end at 8825 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.52% or 135 points to 9000 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which lost 3.19% or 19.5 points to trade at 592.5 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 2.10% or 10.7 points to end at 499.8 and Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) shed 0.58% or 2.2 points to 375.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 69 to 65 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 4.10% or 1.49 to $37.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 3.12% or 1.21 to hit $39.95 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.10% or 1.20 to trade at $1229.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.7332, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4561.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 96.95.
