Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.61%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 5.11% or 16.6 points to trade at 341.6 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 4.85% or 434 points to end at 9388 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 4.29% or 360 points to 8760 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 14.29% or 63.4 points to trade at 380.3 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 5.96% or 19.2 points to end at 303.6 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) shed 4.23% or 28.6 points to 646.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 73 to 47 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.95% or 2.73 to $66.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 3.71% or 2.77 to hit $71.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1218.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.06% to 6.4295, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4544.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 95.07.
