Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.74% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 1.16% or 2.8 points to trade at 244.9 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.03% or 0.38 points to end at 37.14 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.74% or 2.6 points to 347.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which lost 4.90% or 18.20 points to trade at 353.10 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 3.73% or 7.6 points to end at 195.9 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) shed 3.08% or 16.2 points to 509.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 96 to 25 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.00% or 0.66 to $65.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.68% or 1.17 to hit $68.48 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.76% or 10.30 to trade at $1337.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.39% to 5.9732, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4430.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 88.98.
