Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 3.83% or 7.7 points to trade at 208.7 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 2.48% or 14.5 points to end at 599.5 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 2.24% or 16.5 points to 752.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 8.82% or 50.0 points to trade at 517.0 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 2.81% or 13.9 points to end at 480.9 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 2.32% or 8.3 points to 349.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 70 to 47 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.47% or 0.80 to $55.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.78% or 1.08 to hit $61.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.70% or 8.94 to trade at $1269.16 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.44% to 6.4120, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4434.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 94.86.
