Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.86%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 3.01% or 11.0 points to trade at 376.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 2.53% or 17.0 points to end at 689.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.58% or 1.50 points to 258.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 3.82% or 53.0 points to trade at 1333.0 in late trade. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 2.69% or 1.05 points to end at 38.04 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 1.96% or 250 points to 12520.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 82 to 37 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.73% or 0.36 to $49.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.30% or 0.16 to hit $52.54 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.91% or 11.61 to trade at $1290.91 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 6.3259, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4374.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 93.36.
