Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.85%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 1.90% or 7.3 points to trade at 390.8 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.54% or 5.2 points to end at 342.8 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.36% or 0.9 points to 247.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which lost 2.50% or 9.80 points to trade at 382.10 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 2.27% or 14.0 points to end at 603.6 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 2.09% or 8.7 points to 408.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 66 to 49 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.27% or 0.78 to $60.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.62% or 0.40 to hit $64.55 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 6.40 to trade at $1327.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.45% to 6.0088, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4488.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 89.65.
