Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.81% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.60% or 7.1 points to trade at 450.9 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.24% or 4.0 points to end at 326.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 1.01% or 7.2 points to 720.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which lost 2.34% or 8.90 points to trade at 371.90 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.12% or 208 points to end at 9588 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 1.86% or 170 points to 8990.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 56 to 53 and 28 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.56% or 0.37 to $65.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.02% or 0.79 to hit $76.53 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1302.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.26% to 6.3292, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4490.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 93.57.
