Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.79%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 2.30% or 15.6 points to trade at 693.6 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 1.08% or 4.50 points to end at 419.90 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.62% or 4.6 points to 748.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which lost 3.32% or 4.5 points to trade at 131.2 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 3.15% or 11.4 points to end at 350.7 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 2.80% or 238 points to 8250.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 81 to 38 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.76% or 0.52 to $69.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.88% or 0.70 to hit $79.99 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1230.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.51% to 6.4803, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4609.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 95.44.
