Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.78%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 0.76% or 2.9 points to trade at 385.3 at the close. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) added 0.68% or 1.8 points to end at 266.2 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) was up 0.56% or 1.8 points to 314.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which lost 6.19% or 11.7 points to trade at 177.4 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.99% or 288 points to end at 9332 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) shed 2.66% or 10.2 points to 373.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 85 to 42 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.20% or 0.14 to $69.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.12% or 0.09 to hit $78.24 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 8.70 to trade at $1198.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.42% to 6.4421, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4547.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 95.44.
