Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.70%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 1.16% or 4.0 points to trade at 348.0 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 0.92% or 9.2 points to end at 1004.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.29% or 2.2 points to 752.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 3.02% or 255 points to trade at 8185 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.67% or 238 points to end at 8672 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) shed 2.45% or 11.6 points to 462.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 30 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.57% or 0.39 to $68.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.59% or 1.20 to hit $74.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 3.20 to trade at $1267.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.37% to 6.3734, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 94.04.
