Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which rose 8.55% or 13.6 points to trade at 172.6 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 1.71% or 7.90 points to end at 469.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 1.17% or 8.6 points to 745.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 6.36% or 20.7 points to trade at 304.9 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 2.62% or 4.95 points to end at 184.25 and DSV (CO:DSV) shed 2.37% or 12.6 points to 519.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 82 to 49 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.98% or 0.53 to $54.76 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.31% or 0.19 to hit $61.73 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 9.65 to trade at $1325.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.35% to 6.5247, while EUR/DKK rose 0.06% to 7.4672.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 95.295.
