Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Software & Computer Services and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.49%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 1.12% or 4.5 points to trade at 407.3 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 0.64% or 1.50 points to end at 237.60 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.62% or 7.0 points to 1136.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 1.74% or 12.0 points to trade at 678.0 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 1.20% or 9.4 points to end at 775.4 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) shed 1.14% or 5.3 points to 460.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 74 to 43 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.07% or 1.42 to $70.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.08% or 0.81 to hit $75.57 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1221.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.51% to 6.3589, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4486.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 94.09.
