Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.44% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which rose 1.84% or 7.50 points to trade at 415.40 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.83% or 7.0 points to end at 390.1 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.62% or 148 points to 9294 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which lost 3.35% or 5.8 points to trade at 169.0 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.63% or 27.5 points to end at 1017.0 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) shed 2.19% or 4.0 points to 178.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 59 to 58 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.14% or 0.79 to $70.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.24% or 0.19 to hit $79.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 5.80 to trade at $1208.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.16% to 6.3844, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4600.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 94.06.
