Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 2.87% or 11.1 points to trade at 398.2 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 2.20% or 3.7 points to end at 171.8 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 0.65% or 58 points to 9022 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which lost 6.56% or 13.3 points to trade at 189.5 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 2.36% or 10.0 points to end at 414.1 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) shed 1.23% or 3.2 points to 256.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 67 to 59 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.22% or 1.56 to $68.81 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.66% or 1.32 to hit $78.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 1.90 to trade at $1209.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.43% to 6.3882, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4594.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 94.60.
