Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.37% or 3.9 points to trade at 289.1 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 0.66% or 3.00 points to end at 458.30 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) was up 0.66% or 1.9 points to 297.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which lost 5.49% or 7.9 points to trade at 136.0 in late trade. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) declined 3.77% or 8.0 points to end at 204.0 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 3.35% or 33.2 points to 959.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 38 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.06% or 0.64 to $60.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.21% or 0.85 to hit $71.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 2.80 to trade at $1203.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.81% to 6.6338, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4604.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.62% at 97.33.
