Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 1.67% or 4.0 points to trade at 243.6 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 0.87% or 0.70 points to end at 81.15 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 0.78% or 2.60 points to 334.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 2.85% or 10.1 points to trade at 344.8 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 1.74% or 9.0 points to end at 508.0 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 1.17% or 17.0 points to 1438.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 74 to 42 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.25% or 0.12 to $48.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.65% or 0.35 to hit $54.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 5.04 to trade at $1330.66 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.2216, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 91.93.
