Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 2.36% or 8.7 points to trade at 376.6 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.44% or 4.2 points to end at 294.9 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 1.02% or 7.0 points to 693.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 3.56% or 23.5 points to trade at 636.5 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.06% or 6.5 points to end at 604.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 1.06% or 140 points to 13080.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 60 to 55 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.23% or 0.11 to $47.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.22% or 0.11 to hit $50.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.88% or 11.30 to trade at $1279.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.37% to 6.3366, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4368.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 93.72.
