Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.15% or 25.5 points to trade at 834.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.03% or 2.7 points to end at 135.9 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 2.03% or 17.0 points to 854.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 0.69% or 1.8 points to trade at 259.7 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 0.60% or 1.9 points to end at 315.3 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) shed 0.58% or 0.18 points to 30.71.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 91 to 53 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 3.38% or 1.30 to $37.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.98% or 0.80 to hit $39.59 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 1.23% or 15.50 to trade at $1243.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.48% to 6.7225, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4577.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.41% at 96.62.
