Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.26% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 3.73% or 13.8 points to trade at 383.7 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 3.61% or 13.7 points to end at 392.9 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 3.51% or 21.5 points to 633.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 1.30% or 7.5 points to trade at 570.0 in late trade. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 244.5 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) gained 0.08% or 0.03 points to 36.58.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 78 to 41 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.80% or 0.38 to $47.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.68% or 0.35 to hit $52.01 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.15 to trade at $1292.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.42% to 6.3219, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4378.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 93.36.
