Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which rose 5.41% or 21.10 points to trade at 411.10 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.78% or 34.0 points to end at 1255.5 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 2.08% or 196 points to 9606 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which lost 0.87% or 2.6 points to trade at 295.0 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.14% or 1.0 points to end at 694.8 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) 0.00% or 0.00 points to 50.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 81 to 33 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.01% or 0.01 to $68.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.65% or 0.48 to hit $74.48 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 4.00 to trade at $1318.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.35% to 6.1467, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4497.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 91.28.
