Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 3.04% or 14.1 points to trade at 477.7 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.92% or 6.2 points to end at 218.3 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 2.84% or 10.70 points to 388.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 1.10% or 104 points to trade at 9370 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 0.61% or 55 points to end at 9035 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 0.16% or 0.4 points to 244.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 78 to 39 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.21% or 0.74 to $60.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.89% or 0.57 to hit $63.77 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 6.30 to trade at $1321.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.74% to 6.0479, while EUR/DKK fell 0.05% to 7.4478.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 90.11.
