Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.98%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 2.72% or 330 points to trade at 12450 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.41% or 280 points to end at 11890 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.14% or 12.0 points to 572.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 13.82% or 56.9 points to trade at 354.9 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.56% or 0.45 points to end at 80.45 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) shed 0.18% or 0.60 points to 331.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 74 to 49 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.37% or 0.65 to $48.13 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $53.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.01% or 13.63 to trade at $1337.57 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.61% to 6.2197, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4402.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 91.84.
