Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.84% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 11.30% or 147.0 points to trade at 1448.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 3.17% or 20.0 points to end at 650.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 2.79% or 14.5 points to 534.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 2.20% or 280 points to trade at 12430 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.18% or 290 points to end at 13030 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 0.18% or 1.0 points to 566.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 68 to 54 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.58% or 1.25 to $47.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.67% or 0.88 to hit $51.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.09 to trade at $1292.61 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.3005, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4379.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.18.
