Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.79%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which rose 3.77% or 8.10 points to trade at 223.10 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.87% or 252 points to end at 9046 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 2.79% or 10.4 points to 382.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which lost 2.82% or 8.9 points to trade at 306.4 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.74% or 2.8 points to end at 377.3 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 0.67% or 7.0 points to 1045.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 59 to 55 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.37% or 0.24 to $65.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.72% or 0.52 to hit $72.35 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.00% or 11.90 to trade at $1196.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 6.5085, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4583.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 95.86.
