Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.70% or 6.6 points to trade at 393.7 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.40% or 170 points to end at 12290 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.09% or 0.90 points to 83.45 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 0.93% or 3.5 points to trade at 374.0 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 0.76% or 11.0 points to end at 1429.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 0.28% or 1.1 points to 386.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 79 to 44 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.09% or 0.04 to $46.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.75% or 0.39 to hit $51.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.78 to trade at $1315.12 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.40% to 6.2387, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4391.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 92.62.
