Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 2.65% or 10.0 points to trade at 388.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 1.93% or 13.0 points to end at 685.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 1.58% or 4.8 points to 305.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which lost 2.12% or 15.0 points to trade at 693.6 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.14% or 5.0 points to end at 432.5 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 0.58% or 7.0 points to 1210.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 79 to 44 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.81% or 1.78 to $65.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.83% or 1.94 to hit $70.59 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.80 to trade at $1342.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.0325, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4467.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 89.38.
