Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.52% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 3.48% or 20.5 points to trade at 610.0 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 3.01% or 350 points to end at 11980 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 2.99% or 360 points to 12390 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 1.23% or 16.0 points to trade at 1281.0 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.58% or 0.45 points to end at 77.30 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 0.48% or 3.5 points to 727.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 69 to 49 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.24% or 0.13 to $54.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.23% or 0.14 to hit $60.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 6.02 to trade at $1277.82 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.3970, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4412.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 94.48.
