Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 2.59% or 236 points to trade at 9346 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.44% or 210 points to end at 8805 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 1.83% or 3.4 points to 189.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 1.12% or 4.4 points to trade at 387.7 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.79% or 3.0 points to end at 375.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 0.48% or 1.6 points to 332.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 72 to 55 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.77% or 1.20 to $69.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.91% or 1.43 to hit $76.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.64% or 19.60 to trade at $1213.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.76% to 6.4150, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4595.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 95.02.
