Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 3.68% or 14.5 points to trade at 408.9 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.10% or 164 points to end at 7960 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) was up 2.08% or 2.6 points to 127.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which lost 6.95% or 22.2 points to trade at 297.2 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 5.06% or 43.8 points to end at 821.8 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 0.75% or 0.9 points to 125.7.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 74 to 50 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.78% or 1.18 to $67.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.28% or 0.98 to hit $77.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.90 to trade at $1231.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.67% to 6.5476, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4609.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 96.12.
